Speaking of nattou;
I finally watched Shimokita #4 yesterday.
I really liked it. I canLt understand why most donLt like Shimokita and why it had SUCH bad rates :sweat:
There were some really funny, AP-style, Aya scenes in #4. Like when Yukia nearly fell asleep in college :mrgreen:
And I loved the scene when she ran for the nattou special offer in the beginning :rofl: It looks like they wrote that scene just for Aya and her fans who know she loves this stuff :mrgreen:

yeaaa... i loved that movie so much. it's like my favorite movie now. i cracked up throughout the whole movie! I'll never forget their great acting. I tell you, only asians can make movies that touch you the way that movie touched me~ :applaud:

btw --- remember when we were talking about americans doing asian remakes? Well My sassy girl is going to be remade with elisha cuthbert and some other guy... i know they're going to totally ruin a classic... :shamefulcry:

I agree. Jeon Ji-Hyeon and Cha Tae-Hyeon are absolutly perfect in the roles. They couldnLt find anyone who could done it better. :mrgreen:
And youLre right. Asian movies have their own style for comedy and emotional scenes that only asians can do.
Something that touching like "KKK03" or "Taiyo no Uta" ( YUI :inlove: ) for example, can and will never work in a US or European movie. They donLt have that "feeling" and it wonLt work outside the japanese culture as well.
As for the US remake; it will be very bad like any US remake of a Asian movie. OK, "Ring 1" was OK...but "The Grudge" for example; a catastrophe. "Yu-on" is one of the best, most intense and subtly Horror movies ever. But the US remake...oh god... :shakehead:
Or "The Eye" is exellent, too. Now they are doing a remake of that one, too. :shakehead: OK, I like Jessica Alba :naughty: but that canLt work.

Have you seen the movie "Train Man" ("Densha otoko")? You might like that one, too :victory:

True. I like her rebellious hairstyle, cute short hairstyle, long ordinary hairstyle, long very sophisticated hairstyle (like on the best hair 2005 award ceremony), shimo style ....
