If anyone has a simple way to compress photo scans, your advice would be appreciated. I'd like to make these as clear as possible but they end up as huge files when I increase the pixel rate to over 300. Thanks and enjoy the images of loveliness.

I usually scan with 600 dpi, then remove the moire for 3-4 times and then decrease the dpi to 250 or 300. If the pic is still too large you can make it a bit smaller but better leave the dpi at 250 -300.
Then just save it as jpg with a compression from 6-10%. The picLs quality should be very good and not larger than 1MB
Oh yes, and if you have problems with the background shining through on light pictures itLs a good trick to put something black (like a black piece of cardboard) behind the page you are scanning.

For the animation movie, it's made last year in memory of the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII. The story is based on the true story of the author Kayoko. The role dubbed by aya is the childhood of Kayoko.

This movie was shown in HK for 2 scenes this year in an event called Japan Anime Festival. That's why I'm able to watch it in a cinema. Aya really did a great job as she can adjust her voice to a very cute level that suits the age of the little girl. It's worth to have a look on it. For anyone trying to dl Kinpachi Sensei on D-Addicts :

I'm reseeding the whole of Series 6, including the Graduation Special. Not all are 100% complete yet - 17, 20 and 21 are 99.9% complete (dammit!), 11 is 99.1%, 10 is 85.6% and the Grad Special is 63.6%, but I'm reseeding them anyway - as well as trying to complete them all! :sweat:

I'm on from 23:00 GMT to 06:00 GMT pretty much every night, and weekends nearly all day APART from 18:00 to 23:00 GMT (My ISP won't let me use P2P during those hours), so if you want KS6 seeding for download, try those time windows.

I would to thanks very much for the volunteering to seed some episode of Kinpachi Sensei. Unfortunately, Ifm still stuck with a lot of episode and all the download speed for Kinpachi Sensei is at 0. Ifm stuck at 99.5% for episode 2, 91.2% for episode 8, 69.6% for episode 7.While the rest of the episode is still at lower percentage. I would appreciate if any of u may help me with this.
