yeah, I was raised in America and my parents really wanted me to know and
speak my native language so they made us speak korean at home all the
time.... that and I attended Korean school for 10 years or so too :sweat:

In fact, I learnt Korean for about 9 months last year (just for interest). I find it's difficult to remember the correct position of the 'zero', "vertical and horizontal strokes" :bleh: And more difficult is the pronunciation system. Oh! too many exceptions@@ and difficult to pronounce :shamefulcry: Now, I've forgotten a lot and what I can speak in Korean is just 'Hello!' and 'I'm a HK people.' That's all. :mrgreen: I hope I'll pick it up again someday and learn more about it. :victory:

btw, there's an unhappy news about aya. Her regular radio programme '21 Peace' will end next week. :shamefulcry: She's had this programme since she's 17, ie. has lasted for 4.5 yrs. I'm really so sad to learn this news. Anyway, hope another brandnew radio programme from aya will come again in near future.

I tried learning Chinese when I study abroad at Korea for a few months.
so many words to memorize. I've forgotten most of 'em too. all I know
how to write is my name :sweat: hope I can pick it up sometime too. lol

I've only just recently found out about it. Damn missed the rest T_T hope

@ak6 :I am for some reason happy to discover you have korean culture :woot: I'm always surprised to see asian people all over the world. Even if I find korean way harder to pronounce than chinese mandarin, it doesn't matter :victory: Well, never took a course, but I watched some korean movies.

@candy : whatever u do to your avatr, the phpBB system will displays it with 150pixels width (keeping the aspect ratio). This is the only restriction. Yes better host it somewhere like imageshack.us in order not to have that height restriction.

@ben : The best dvd player brand is pioneer imo. But super dvds are to come soon, so buy carefully. The economic solution is to watch it on computer, by using some pirate's programs to unzone ur computer dvd reader xD. (or else a software called Any Dvd :naughty: ) Don't tell me you can't find this in singapour lol. Hmm or else I think you can find a good one cheaper under a HK brand, but be warned, chinese market is a jungle : u can find something better than big western brands way cheaper, as well as buy a totally undecent quality. I think it was hight 150, width 500 and max not more than 300kb (Avatar and sig compared)
