ILd agree with, for example, saying a girl of age 11, to be sexy. But I donLt think itLs inapproriate for 16 or older. Always depending on the girl and outfit, of course!
Like candyman said; there are asian gravure models that are even younger and doing sexy bikini shots.
And, especially in the japanese entertainment industry, it isnLt uncommon to make a young 15 year old girl, into a hot lolita.
People, who donLt know that japanese popculture etc, may find it all perverted and stange but if you know it itLs somewhat "normal."
But I think we have a different picture of the word "sexy" used here.
For me, itLs just another (stronger) word for saying she looks good or hot. Perhaps especially for a pic that is in a sexy pose, showing more skin than usual etc...

Sangohan wrote:Well What I see on those pics.. Sometimes we Americans.. Cant shoot that way Japanese can cause it's too inappropriate to post... Innocent? I don't think so.. Japanese style is way too risky on that age bracket than Americans.. man we can get sued posing the you girls that way.
The gravure popularity and fame lays upon the "innocentness" of these girls. These girls are more innocent than provocative on the pics. As they are not provocative, roughly said as they don't urge you to do what u know, in my opinion they can't be called "sexy". The japanese eroticism is different from the western one. The japanese one is rather something like the male has to do the first step (non like the girl doesn't desire to do it). It isn't sexy in the same way american intends it. that english word doesn't FIT into japanese culture.
Well all this is what I think and guess here and there. I'm not a specialist of eroticism. Ask KT,he seems to have quite a good culture.

Do you find it Cute in there Bikini? I don't think so.. Erika Sawajiri, Saki Aibu, Yuuka, Ayana Sakai, etc... ALL SEXY!!!! Man.. We're not Harassing them, it's just a Compliment. Alot of girls want to be Attractive, they want to get guys attention.. Some guys don't give the attention they deserve. Me on the Other hand. Takes Girls pictures everyday. I tell them do a sexy pose... and they know what to do. I make them feel good about themselves.. not in a perverted way but to show their true beauty. Then in the end.. They feel alot more confident when guys or girls say Wow.. you're Beautiful, or Sexy.. they say "Thank You"
Sangohan wrote:And what's stronger than Attractive? SEXY!!!
Her legs are PURE. It's stronger than attractive AND it correspond better with this pic.
Sangohan wrote:Not Only Miss Usa.. Miss Universe too... Man I find that Miss JAPAN is SEXY!!!! Man Every Contestant is Sexy in there.
Dunno that Miss USA.
Like Thy-kun slightly said lastly, most girls tends to be considered as sex objects. Supposely to please men. And men encourage the sexy pose as the unique way to please them. And the using of the word "sexy" contributes to perpetuate the dark misunderstanding "the only way to show my beauty is to show my body". If sexy is the unique valuable compliment, it strenghtens the fact that girls are treated as sex objects.

The japanese s can like soft pics, gravure as it's called, without linking it to sex ! Although I seriously doubt that when I see some american influenced magazines : the girl looks innocent but does everything to make u think about sex. Sry I can't respond, this goes beyond my understanding. It is a society culture. Let's say posing in some mags for some years is a safer way to win money if u can't do studies. Until you find another way to earn your life. At least it's better than ramdomly prostitute yourself to pay your expansive medecine course, like in australia. At least u don't know violence, drugs, HIV etc.

But thats exactly the point (where you contradict yourself )!!!
If the japanese attraction (=sexyness) comes from something like the cuteness and innocence then the Aya pic I posted above is definately sexy!!! She looks cute on it, wears a sexy outfit and is young and innocent. = she is sexy.
"K.T. has a good culture" whatLs taht supposed to mean ?! :headscratch:
Sangohan wrote:Wow.. So you don't think none of this pic is linking into sex? dang what are you a priest? "Soft pics" are you pertaining to Soft Porn? Really dude.. You don't think Any of Aya's Pic Doesn't link to Sex? Or Make People Be Atrractive to her, Her Dancing? Her Slit on her Dress on Rikouran? Even the Glasses on her Lips? Not Saying that All people Have Wet Dreams About her... Dude You thinking this Whole Sex think like is a Bad thing for Aya. Aya is Aya Attractive in every way.,, Sexy in Every way... Not just one way.. Everyway... Women are sexy in every way. Just trying to make a point that the word Sexy isn't a Bad Word. I just find it Hard to believe you can't see it that way. And really Don't go on this topic of Prostitution , Drugs & Stuff.. It's not just US. Does it.. It's All Over the World.. It's the Oldest Profession. May I Say Geisha? Pornstars alike.. I give them all the respect. If that's the way to there life it's not of my damn business. You have to be a little bit "Open Minded" Seems like Sexy is like a Curse word to you or Something. Man Chill out.

NO the japanese attraction is not sexiness. I am telling u guys that sexiness has no sense in japanese culture ! What the japanese know, is NOT what we western call sexy. It's not sexiness even if it is nearly-naked girl pictures.
U have to be provocative to be called "sexy". And Aya's poses are not provocative ! The sexy word has no reason to be.
edit : KT culture : it is him who posted that AV girl called ai ueto here. He must know a bit about japanese eroticism and (sry to write that, but it's not the same thing) "porn". Plus, I bet senpai has been more into japanese culture than me. It's not for nothing I accept to consider him as a senpai :hehe:
