As for Hotelier, I think it'll be good. I have faith in aya's acting abilities because I'm always convinced by her characters. I've never really thoght of any of her characters being fake so if Hotelier is a failure, it'd be her first. But with that long hair, I dont think it could go wrong =) I just wonder how the show will settle with the Koreans who love the original.
I can't wait and have watched ep. 1. Thy, you're right, no doubt that aya also acts well this time. No matter her gesture, image and talking way, all fit the role. :applaud: :applaud:
But I also agree with what gloomy and frefall said, oscar should gear down and choose jobs for her more carefully. I know that quite many people don't like the casting so much becasue 1. the 'young girl' image of real aya is still so strong while the role in the original Korean drama was palyed by a much more matured actress (if my memory's correct, it's around 26-28 at that time), so it's hard for most audience to watch the drama 'subjectively' enough. 2. the age setting of aya's role is too young, only 22. Instead, what aya acted somehow like 25 which, in fact, suits the role better. 3. the two main actors, to be frank, are less acttractive (at least to me  )
In fact, personally I think that oscar intentionally choose somewhat 'BIG' roles to aya and is too eagar to change her image from an idol to a true actress. However, sometimes these roles may be too big or too early to young aya. I'm not saying that aya can't play these roles well, instead, she really does great jobs. :applaud: But I just think it's too early for her or the pace is too fast. Yep, oscar may need to slow down a little bit and allows a transition period for aya to change her image more naturally, at least at the pace that is accepted by the general audience who are not aya's fans.
@w3bhead-san, long time no see~~~~ Welcome back! :woot:
