I noticed in those high school dramas the students go to their lockers to change shoes before and after school everyday. So I guess it's probably quite normal in Japan, though I haven't heard of anything like it before watching jdoramas.

in japan its considered rude to wear your shoes indoors, you have to take them off before you enter. in schools and places i believe they have indoor shoes so that you can wear shoes in schools and get around the tradition...i think anyway lol.
there was a funny scene in azumanga where osaka asks her teacher about americans wearing shoes indoors and how "what if they walked in some dog poop, and then start spreading it on the carpet"

Yeah when thy and ak6 are gone, when Free and Candy are busy, the thread can't grow fast you see. Even if I speak about my feelings after watching hotelier, it's not enough.

edit 2 : yeah 10 USD for one pic is expensive for me too, though 10 USD itself isn't that expensive. But for a photo it horribly is.
