Yup PS scans are overbright.
Aya updated her blog. Okay, she's still alive, healthy and all cute by herself ~

Yeah but what can I do ? The best I can do is to send him a virtual kiss, but I don't think that's what he longs for. Man he is so unrespectful/selfish these days :puppydog: .

He could possibly be getting ready to move into college?????
We don't really know his situation or his schedule, so its kinda unfair to say he's disrespectful/selfish

I dunno, I go away for a few weeks and find I have about forty pages to plough through - don't you guys have any lives?? :hehe:
Yes, I'm back - though as you may remember, I'm not a frequent poster, more a 'drop in and see what's going on' guy - the price of living in the UK, where Aya stuff's hard to come by .....
Thought I'd toss in my contribution to recent debates;
I don't know Aya's popularioty's gone down so much as her more recent work jasn't been well received. Aya's not got a really fanatical following (present company excepted!) who'll watch everything she does - if they don't like something she's in, they don't watch it. And neither Shimokita Sundays nor Hotelier were popular - not funny enough,, overacted, didn't hang together, or whatever. That doesn't mean she's dropped in popularity, just that her management needs to get her material more suited to her as she is now.
Same goes musically - her rockier numbers were more popular, and sold more. Going the route of ballads was, in my opinion, a mistake - her producer shouldn't have heeded that survey where people voted for a ballad as her next single, I think the result was ...... Save Me should have been the main a-side, I think it would have shifted more units of sales.
Azumi 3 - only if they get back the director of the first movie, Ryuhei Kitamura, and double the budget, as he actually asked for when approached about doing the sequel. Instead, they halved the budget and got in someone who just couldn't handle the material as well - not that A2 is BAD, just not as good as the first.
I'm looking forward to this sci-fi film she's lined up for - a real change of pace for her, and hopefully it might actually get released over here! :dancing:
Anyway, I'm keeping faith - I just wish her management would choose better material for her, both musically and acting-wise.
Peace! Out. :victory:

OK, one for Hitonatsu no papa e
About the DVD quality rips: ILm waiting for the rest, too. Still got the first 3 on my HDD and not burned yet. I donLt think Phinn will finish them anymore. havenLt heard from him forever, too :shamefulcry:
Hmmm, I could rip them in DVD quality but weLd need eng subs for them. It might bepossible to extract the eng subs from the other versions but it wouldnLt be nice to steal their subs, of course. :beaten:

Exactly. Like I said, she should more do stuff that made her so popular and special. Movies like Azumi, Tomboy look, outsider roles like in Kinpachi sensei, comedy roles like AP.

Again I totally second that. I liked the rockier songs more. Her ballads are great too, of course. But the stuff she did back then was different again from the common Jpop acts.
And I also agree with save me. ItLs a great sond which should have been itLs own single release.

I liked Azumi 2 a lot, too. Maybe it wasnLt as good and original like the first one but for me itLd be OK if the 3rd would be by the same director of the second one again.
