Here are scans specially requested by Freefall. Sorry for the wait! I still have a lot of hmk right now. I got a new scanner too and I'm not sure how to get good quality out of it. Sorry I can't figure out how to get rid of those stupid lines all over the image. The the quality isn't bad so enjoy! I have 2 more pages to go. I hope no one else has already scanned these..

About the scan quality: At how many dpi are you scanning? Best do it with 600dpi, then (I think this might cause those lines) remove the moire 2-3 times) and then size it down to 300 dpi (or whatever size you want to make it

Yes, it was sent out in Sep and should have already reached Oscar. In fact, someone in the HK-Taiwan has phoned Oscar and told them there'd be a message book to aya. So, everthying should be alright! :woot: But I don't think aya will mention in her blog. Otherwise, it looks unfair to the Japanese fans. They may be jealous. :mrgreen:

Hey Thy.. On your Scanner Settings..Turn On "Descreen" option .. That will take out the Screen Lines. It will take a little longer for the scanner to pass the Image cause it's taking out the Screen Lines.. Oh set it to 600dpi then resize to 300 like Free Said... Should work... Good luck.. hehehe

Well, I still think chances for a few words in her blog would be better sending something like this in a time where she doesnLt have her b-day. On her birthday she probably got sooooo many presents from fans that itLd be totally impossible to mention them. And, as you said, mentioning only a few would be unfair to the others.

That's great. Now for Aya to have free time to read it, is another affair :hehe: . I hope my english is understandable :hehe: .
But I totally disagree about her blog : she SHOULD mention us in her blog. That'd be very kind from her and well, among Aya-fans there shouldn't be any jalousy in theory. And the japanese shouldn't be jealous anyway, as proper kind people. Plus, they already have the local advantage so no right to complain xD. Plus Aya already mentioned all of them in a previous entry saying thanks for all the messages she received everytime she asked people to communicate with her on several subjects. Plus if AYa mentions us on her blog, no doubt japanese fans will finally know for sure (100% chances ) that Aya-chan is known overseas. Which is ... rather a good news isn't it ? :mrgreen:

Plus if Aya puts a few words about the book in her blog she's not obliged to develop too much because taht'd be indeed very unfair. But that doesn't hinder her from sending some private messages a bit everywhere without eveyone knowing. :hehe: Wait & see.

On panda babies Yeah sure, but not on too young babies I think. Well actually the panda in the video is still a baby. I mean about younger babies than that, when they don't have hairs yet : Aya's fingers might be too big for such a little being, plus these abies would have more cartilage than bone. So I advocate that Aya learns baby acupuncture : that'd be her next performance in baby-care ~

Thanks for the tips guys! I will try the 600 - 300 dpi thing. It'll probably be like 100mb!! But I dont think there's a descreen option for this new scanner. It's really simple. There's only dpi setting and edit options for touching up pictures. It's a Lexmark X2580. I got it free with my laptop, so I didn't really pick it out.. Ehh, I hate those lines! SO UGLY!!!!
