I just finished watching episode 1 and I must say I am really impressed. I like the story line and how Ayu's attitude toward Yuki changed in the end. I am looking forward to episode 2 and 3. I'm excited to see what the president has in store for Ayu and why she hates her so much..

Comparing it to AP, I think Ayu's character is more likable. But and a big but..Yoko is cooler. (I dig rocker chicks)

But my money is on Ayu will get pregnant before the series ends.

And I think it's not appropriate at all to compare the ratings among dramas which are totally different in terms of story, style and on-air time. As you know, rating is affected by many surrounding factors. The quality of a drama not necessarily equals to the rating it gets.

Let's say ep. 3 of Mama, it's rating is less desirable, just 11.8%. It's simply because the showing time has been dreadly delayed for an hour by a baseball race beforehand. So, many audience recorded the drama instead of waiting to watch in real time (recording is not taken into the audience rating). This shows that it's hard for us to judge the quality of a work just by figure. It should be judged by our eyes and wisdom. :mrgreen:

11% is still somewhat OK, I guess. What counts is the overall rating in the end. I think Abarenbo Mama will be at about 15.
