I think Aya is still part very prefessional in her job but also still very natural, funny and maybe even a bit childish in what she does. And thatLs exactly what makes her so special and sympatico
Of course collecting stuff, of a star you like, is somewhat normal for westeners too, of course. But even more common and normal for Japanese, I think. Aya will probably not have a problem with it. She will know the fact that she is popular and people collect her stuff.
And donLt forget that we support Aya by buying her stuff!!! So I donLt think she will have any problem with us buying her stuff
:hehe:
Odd. I don't want that consumer's relationship with Aya-san. You know, when I started to like her, my friends were saying I was a fan of her, but I hate that word "fan". It's not like that. It's just, I'm happy to see a joyful girl out there on earth, someone upright. My thoughts are not like "oh she's pretty, I 'm gonna buy PBs, calendars of her etc etc" like I would do for other cute idols such as those in the gravure section of thisiskawaii.com . No, it's not THAT physical with Aya-san. I just like to follow her adventures from a long distance. She's like ... a model of behaviour. Dunno how to say it. I feel like ... she's good friend of mine.
That's why I'm so suspicious about the words "s**y", "a$$" that apply to Aya-san, as if you talk about my real friends in real life. You could use such words about other stars I wouldn't care. But ... to Aya-san, as I consider her not like a star, but as a somewhat good girl I meet everyday, I don't accept it. I owe her a lot of esteem. That's why I don't like the word "fan" , I don't like the meaning, but it's not easy to find another word either :beaten: .
Okay, you'll tell me how come I bought a calendar then ? and an album ? That's odd I know because I said I hated that consumption logic. Yeah you're right , it's actually one of the dilemmas I have to face :banghead: . Because, there's no other way to see my friend but buying some of her stuff. It's not like I had the choice.
Still, I don't like Aya being linked with money. Besides, she's already doing very good for her age, whereas me, I still ahve to ensure myself a future, earn money and all. Sometimes I think that, whether I watch over her or not, she'll do good anyway, and I'd better take care of myself...
