Looking at the girl in the bathtub from a side view, I can't tell if that is Aya Ueto or not. The side view could be Aya, or just some other Asian girl.
How long would it take Aya to get cleaned off, after taking a picture like that? How many bars of soap would it take?
Uh, that's not Aya at all. The pic was posted in reference to another post.
Thanks, Wynter, for explanation that Aya Ueto is not the girl in the picture "Aya's beauty secret: Natto Bath".
I've seen the picture a few times before, and thought it was supposed to be Aya Ueto in the picture. There have been over a 1,000 pictures of Aya over the years, and she can appear very differently in many different poses, but it was difficult to match the girl in the picture with my mental picture of Aya.
Sorry, I just didn't get the joke. I knew it was supposed to be a joke, based on Aya's love of natto, but Aya usually looks much more lovely, cute, or pretty than the girl in the Natto Bath picture.
I've seen a number of Aya pics when she's eating. I don't remember seeing so much eating/food pics of other celebs. Is it typical Aya or more common for japanese in general, then it is to see 'western' celebs eating?
I wish i could buy some natto here... But i don't think there's one restaurant or shop in my country where they have that.
I think Aya has a higher percentage of pictures where she is seen eating or drinking than other Asian models. But that is at least partly due to her commercial contracts. Also, many Asian models are photographed in swimsuits/bikinis, and there are very few Aya pictures in swimsuits/bikinis. So Aya is kinda like the queen of the food/eating picture for Asian models, in my opinion. Though I certainly would like to see more of the bikini pictures, because she has a great body, in addition to that wonderful expressive face.
As for natto, I understand that is an acquired taste. The taste (and smell) are, for most westerners, a turnoff.
Aya-chan does not require us to sacrifice our nose and tastebuds in her service, as far as I can tell. <G>
Not much of a taste if you ask me...but then again I have a friend who does like natto. Traditional served with soy sauce and/or Japanese hot mustard (karashi) I guess gives it a bit more flavor.
The texture is very different from most foods one is accustomed to, having a Western palette. It's really healthy for you though...Natto has enzymes and vitamins that help keep your arteries clean and flexible while also promoting strong bones.
