i found this article in the japan times about aya chan.
made me realise that being a celeb in japan isn't quite the same as in the west. noboby should spend their birthday crying. i feel for her. :puppydog:

it's a great paper. i always buy it when i'm out there and i'm glad i can read it when i'm not.
this story was a bit sad though. aya does appear to be very professional and cares about her fans so maybe her management should look after her a little better.
