Don't worry Aya-chan!

thank you, Phinn.
yes, being a jidol is not easy.
is it easy for very young girls to take sexy swimsuit photo shots...
is it easy for them to face never ending work schedule... without proper rest?
everytime i watch PUZZLE, i wanna cry...
... i don't know what i'm trying to say...
but i'm glad to know that u REALLY love and care about Aya, Phinn.
cuz i feel the same way for her too.

Japan, is actually a very stressful country for everyone who lives there.
thanks Aya for giving us fans all around the globe the illusion of happiness.
of course, nothing is real...
... i don't know what i wanna say...

time to stop.
enough.

I understand how you feel akozi. Whenever I see Aya appear on the stage or the screen, I get the feeling that's she not really cut out for stardom. To me, she just seems like the girl-next-door who entered a beauty contest when she was 11 because it seemed like it might be fun and what little girl doesn't like to be made a fuss of? But having won the contest and signed a talent contract, I think she was just whisked away by others to aid her career, not realising what growing up under the spotlight was going to entail. Despite so many people trying to get famous, I don't think she actively wanted to be a huge star, at least not knowing the harsh reality. It's a credit to her that she has managed to stay so normal and down-to-earth. I do worry for her sometimes...

yes, Phinn. notice how she acts and behaves differently offstage?
like a different person. not that bright young star Ueto Aya we used to know.
...even she realized that there is still a camera next to her...
i know that most (in fact nearly all) Japanese stars have their very own personal selves that they conceal them so well.
when they are facing the camera, we'll only see the portraits that they (or their jimusho) want us to see.
say if some media wants to do a interview with a star, they have to draft the questions and let the star or the jimusho take a look first.
if someone raised a sudden question, that's considered very rude.
everything we see on screen is rehearsed beforehand. even a simple interview or some game show attendence!
maybe it's because of her personality... i don't know, but Aya is definitely not fully used to the stardom yet.
she's different when comparing with other young jidols.
like what u say, Phinn, down-to-earth. ^^
...perhaps that's why i like her so much too.
i just hope that people around her won't push her too much. let her have a break once a while.
cuz i'm sure that we all love to see Aya would sing and perform for us for a long long time.
not just like those that vanished after a few hits... *sigh*
so i wish our Aya well. stay strong.
kan bare, Aya chan!!!

/ADDED/
... and most importantly, we all love to see Aya happy. ^^

p.s. yes. i can cap the screen now. thank you, Phinn. thank you, eltinator. ^^ *bow*

Yea I do got to admit that Aya-chan seems much more down to earth than the other stars. I dunno what it is about her, she just seems less glamorous than the other stars. Not to say she isn't glamorus or anything but it's just like she's really "real". The girl next door type. She isn't like Ayu who seems to be so caught up in looks and stuff. I like that about Aya-chan :D

That's definitely Aya's appeal, not really a superstar like Ayumi Hamasaki, just the charming girl-next-door. I much prefer Aya this way :)

Was jdorama.com down? Anyways, I haven't been able to access it for a while, but the time was spent wisely. Two things:

First, remember that wonderful advert with Aya in a panda suit? :D The problem was that the streaming video wasn't the best quality unless you have a really good connection and even then you couldn't save it. Well, I don't know whether people have done this already, but I managed to work out how to save them, so here's your very own Panda Aya :)

Just right-click and 'Save Target As...'

Also the 'Of course!!' ad :)

Secondly a quick peep at my Aya site, though its still very much in development ^^ I've only managed to do Aya's 'early years' which was really hard as the official websites for Aya don't mention her 'Z-1' years at all, so a lot of time was spent with Google and a online translator :bonk:

Anyways, any mistakes in my facts please correct me! I'm sure I must have made some. I'll hurry up with the rest of the site soon. I'm not a very good web designer at all, so please excuse me, but let me know what you think, feel free to tell the harsh truth!

Yup jdorama was done most of the weekend for me.

I also like Aya's sort of punk-rockish style :D I just think it's soooo cool!
