the audience rating of ep4 "Hanzawa Naoki" reached 27.6%!!
(if you are familiar with japan tv sesries, 27.6% is a extremely high rate)

:wow: :wow: :woot: :woot:

IMDb has a listing for THERMAE ROMAE II! Could it be true? I haven't seen any news about the movie yet, but I am hoping it's true. I liked the first movie a lot!

Also... both Ueto Aya and Abe Hiroshi now have portraits on IMDb! That's unique for Japanese actors/actresses... :)

Must've slipped my mind, then. Or I just can't remember it. Can't wait for it!
Now I just hope the original will be released on DVD here so that I can buy it. :)

happy to see that this thread is still up. I remember a few years ago there was a feud going on because this topic called Aya the queen. hahaha[image]

Is it September 14 in Japan yet? Because if so, it's AYA'S BIRTHDAY!
I'll post here again when it's September 14 where I live, so that I can congratulate her. ^^

Happy birthday, Ueto Aya-chan!

How can I forget.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AYA!!!!

Have you guys seen this pic of Aya?

I got it from Aya's Facebook page, but it doesn't even look like her.

Thanks ... I haven't said "hello" for a long time Freefall. Interesting ... the pic you just posted is the Aya we all know and love but that previous pic just looks so different?

You know I went to Tokyo 4 years ago hoping to meet Aya. I even went to her agency and took a small birthday gift. I never saw her. I've been in Thailand now ever since. I still think of her often and wonder how she and her husband are doing.

Yes, it seems you do live in Thailand now. It's a shame you didn't get to meet Aya. But perhaps it was to be expected...

Did you marry a Thai lady, by any chance?
