It's a 2 hour made-for-TV movie with an all-star cast to commerate the 50th anniversary of TBS. It's about an ordinary family living in Okinawa during the Pacific War and how all their lives are affected by the fighting and the devastating Battle of Okinawa. The DVD extended cut runs for 2hrs 34mins. Making a DVD version of this is on my list of 'Aya things to do' after Hitonatsu and Ace ;)
