However, as completely gorgeous as this picture and many others featuring her with short hair is, IMHO she definately looks more mature, more sexy, more elegant, more FUN etc. in long hair!

Now since I'm about a thousand times older than anyone else in this forum let me share a little of life's wisdom with you...

Whenever a woman cuts her hair--particularly if it's a radical change (going from long to very short), it usually means that she has gone through some kind of emotional transition. It could be from breaking up with a guy or a major career shift.

Of course in Aya's case it could be as simple as a new role in a movie that calls for short hair.

Well, but this theorie only works the other way around. Aya had short hair in the first place! ;) Besides, in her case it was probably just a role or a wish for a little chance why she had cut it from long to short and the other way. No emotional problem, ILm quite sure...

The UK dvd of Azumi 2 is poor. Compared to the japanese release the picture is soft, hazy and missing a lot of details. And it doesn't have a DTS track. Extras consist of one trailer and one making of documentary with NO SUBTITLES. It's not the same making of that was on jp disc.

The japanese release has better picture, better sound, better extras, better menus, better package... The only good thing about the Optimum disc is the subtitles. And I think those subs I found from kloofy's may even be more accurate (though they feature misspelling with names).

And Aya looks better with short hair :inlove:

OK, important news. I was thinking about getting the UK DVD but now I guess ILll go with the japanese...

I went to check again how the UK disc looks on my dvd player, and it was worse than I remembered. It's horrible, nearly unwatchable. It almost makes me wonder if I got a faulty copy or something.

Take a look at it again. Maybe you don't get image at all then :sweat:

If i watch a movie with that kinda quality a couple times, I think my vision will worsen a lot faster :nut:

I got two magazines from Kino today. Aya on the cover of this one Manga magazine and was on a couple pages in Kindai, not on the cover. The pics in Kindai are nice. I'll try to make scans of them soon :mrgreen:
