No idea, but it seems to be one of those Special dramas, one Ep, couple hrs long. I recognize some people in there. One is Nakama Yukie and the guy who interviewed her on that TV show where she played that driving similutor game

All i could read was Satoukibi somthing something no something something..........can't read kanji :shakehead:

seems to be an anniversy of the bombing that happened during WW2

From what you've written, I'm quite sure what you're talking is a drama special titled 'Satoukibi Batake no Uta' (Song of the Sugar Cane Field), which is shown in autumn 2003. It's a story about how a bright family in Okinawa struggled in a war (towards to end of WWII) there. Frankly speaking, many Chinese feel quite ill to Japanese drama or movie on WWII, but to me, this work is really extremely wonderful! Of course the cast acts so professionally, the director and theme song (same title as the drama, sung by Moriyama Royuko) are excellent as well. This work got the highest TV points at that time and recieved a big cultural award in Japan as well. For details, you may refer to the following site:

ohh....thanks for replying jinzoaya
Window's Media Player didn't allow me to take a screen cap of the clip.

When making screen caps go to Options>Performance>Video acceleration>Advanced and uncheck "Use overlays" box.
