Actually elnino is working on it too as well as 3 other people so hopefully we can spit out ep 1 pretty soon. I know JTV said something about ace wa nerae, not sure if they're going through with it though.

Ah, I was going to say, it was a mail order to Japanese residents only release, therefore uber-rare outside Japan and consequently nigh impossible to get hold of. Out of interest, once you've ripped the DVD to your HD, what's the total size of the VOB files?

Yeah my friend is a big gundam fan so he got it for me. I was so happy when he told me he actually got it because he originally told me he couldnt. :)

The Vob files cam out to 3 1048mb files each. Im pretty retarded when it comes to encoding so ive been having difficulty doing it :( For some reason the sound never wants to encode.

have anyone watched Ace no Nerae yet? is it any good? similar to aya's past drama? (the dvd is not even out yet but i figure some ppl might have access to it faster)

Ace o Nerae was a fun drama to watch but I didnt think it was anything special. I was turned off by the fake CG tennis balls for most of the scenes. I guess Aya did do a good job in it though. :)

Im also thinking of trying to translate some dramas... but I dont think my japanese is good enough to do it well yet. :( But since I'm graduating on the 20th and I'm not going to have anything to do until I get a English teaching position in Japan I may have enough time so suffer through it... but translating so still hard.

Also if someone wants the vob's from the Ueto Aya CM's and wants to encode them to a reasonable size i can send them but my school has major upload limits so the method of sending would have to be a little complicated. But if anyone is interested they can always PM or message me on MSN messenger or AIM :)

Cool, I thinking of maybe trying to see how I can manage with SUna no Utsuwa. That was one of my favorite dramas and I hate when so many Mimura Takuya fans praise Pride so much. Takeuchi Yuko is one of my favorite actresses but Suna no Utsuwa still wins as far as im concerend.

If aditor is needed for anything I can definatly do that much eaiser than transalting everything from scratch. Three years of Japanese and 6 weeks in Japan can only take you so far. ;)

I also put up 33 new screen shots from CMs 10-19. She wears a Kimono in one of them. :)

Last 64 :sweat: Screen caps uploaded. IF you want to make an animated gif from some of these CMs there are 2 cool ones in this batch. One where she runs away from a SD gundam and one where she runs ournd a house swinging a broom like the gundam is doing in a CM :)

If jtv doesn't pick it up (I was bugging them to do it actually, lol) and you still want to do it, I'll buy the DVD raws when they come out and send them to you for translation/encoding :)

Just watched Ace wa Narae ep 1. Aya is so cute in it. I hope someone does pick up this, cuz its a pretty cool series so far.

It was in the middle of a Best Hit Generation show that Aya guested on in February. Just tried to cut out the relevant bit with VirtualDub, but it decided to have a hissy fit and declare the file 'corrupt' :(

same here, i watched "aim for the ace" eps 1, this series kick ass. but i got stuck on eps 2 (d/l 97% and stuck there) and eps 9 only have 5% done, is anyone else d/l eps 2 and 9 raw? ;)

hehe cool! I have yet to preview the raws I have so if those arent too bad i can save you some money and use those :mrgreen:
