Aya took once again the task of image character for the latest LOTTE ice cream "Soh" CM. In the commercial she is seen collapsing in bliss on a sofa after eating the ice. Aya said that the commercial reflects how she likes to eat "Soh" on her days off, "After a good meal and then go back to sleep". The CM will start airing on March 20.

hmm... i wonder why BoA seems less famous than aya in japan but her album is sold here... :grumble:
and aya has won so many awards and starred in so many dramas and even 2 movies and blah blah blah....
i think it's because aya's less famous that's why it's cheaper to hire her to act in the CMs and movies and dramas...

personally i don't really think boa is that great... although she really is pretty... and she can sing in japanese and korean...
but i still think aya is better.... :nut:

ummm.......I think its opposite that. Since Aya is really famous in japan right now, if you're able to get her to advertise your stuff, chances are more people will buy your goods. Do to her being famous, she is more CMs and dramas, slowly being seen in more movies<----though still up to her if she wants to do movies.

I'm not 100% sure, but if you are in the entertainment business in japan, it helps if you're face is seen a lot. Being in CMs and Dramas helps get your face out there and let people know you're famous.

Just my thought on it. I can be 100% wrong here :beaten:

I think itLs just as you say. Most celebLs fame today is artificial made by placing them in TV shown, magazines etc. They "make" us like them.

No question about that. She even works too much if you ask me. :sweat:
But in my case they didnLt "make me" like her because I already liked her before I got my first mags or saw videos. It was enough to see her in Azumi back then :mrgreen:

since the story focused more on Akiko's character towards the end, things got more serious and not as light hearted where Aya can just make funny faces.


Watching her on Matthew's best Hit, you see her laugh a whole lot more and just enjoying her time on the show.


Aya should do have more pics where she can do funny faces, not a whole PB on it, it won't have a long lasting impact i think :sweat:
