i was at Kino/Bookoff, and was browsing the books, mags, and video...
i came across a dvd movie, of the "Install" of Aya, how was that? :bonk:

I watched it w/o english subs. Its got an interesting concept to it.
I found it quite interesting, definately on the lines of KKK 2003 different and interesting compared to some of her other dramas. Not dark or anything like that

I suggest you dl it and get the english subs instead of buying it :victory:

me neither mr. shin...dou. the last funny thing i saw was kisarazu....this is not quite as funny but IS dayem funny and perfectly cast with aya as the lead....it's a tomboy role, man...she was an admitted tomboy in her youth...art imitates life.

hehe, i dunno if you saw kinpachi sensei 6 b4, but aya is quite good in that one too - she plays a tomboy-like role there too and this was a couple years back

i should start getting kisarazu and see what you guys are talking about - seems like the comedy level is way up there ne?

i haven't seen kinpachi sensei...i've heard a million good things about aya's performance there....prior to AP i've only seen Aya in KKK 03..which i know you loved :P

re: kisarazu, it's funny in an absurd sense....but one that is classically japanese. i loved it.

hehe, KKK03 was certainly not my cup of tea - that's why i wasnt expecting so much from Aya at the time. I also watched My Little Chef around then but she was just a supporting character there, so i was pretty pleasantly surprised in kinpachi 6 - glad KT recommended that one to me. And now AP puts her in a role that is right at home for her.

i loved her acting in KKK but the story is so noir...it's difficult to stomach...

You know Aya plays a character that has Gender Identity Disorder in Kinpachi Sensei 6 right?? You'll find it quite interesting :victory:
:hehe: KKK 2003 was very good. I loved it. I like seeing Aya playing characters that are interesting and ones I didn't know she could pull off very well

Kisarazu is very funny   If I could burn this drama onto DVD and watch it on DVD player and big TV, I would. I'd watch it while I eat dinner :victory:

@Shindou: Glad you enjoyed the drama as much as I did  :victory:

@ triky - i know you've probably had more than ur share of school dramas - but this one was definitely among one of the best ones - the acting i found was really quite refreshing - since most of the kids are younger and they play their roles surprisingly well.

well i trust your judgement in that you know that it's refreshing and different for it's treatment of an atypical subject within the gakuin setting...

so which season is it again and do you the various kinpachi seasons need to be watched to comprehend what's crackin?

Yup. I thought Aya did a fantastic job. Some of the other girls started to get better as the drama went along. I didn't like Haseken's acting :bleh:
One guy i'm sad to see not having big roles nor getting interesting character to play is that one who played the little shrimp....Cho??? forgot the character's name

@Triky:   watch and find out :victory:

the 6th season (i think its the only one that's subbed) - don't think you need to watch the previous seasons, correct me if i'm wrong KT, but they do make references to the previous class (season 5) but its not prerequisite to watching this one

also, its a bit long (22 eps or so) so may take a while to get it all
