@Fumiyasu: Yep, my exams have finished, so I'll be continuing the subbing, although the World Cup is eating into my time quite a lot! :bonk:
Aya has been rated as the No.1 most wanted girlfriend in Japan! She received 350 of 10,000 votes. For full results, click here.

tht's great, thx...i m still dling them but i watched it for a bit and thought it's looking good... I wonder why there isn;t a lot of info about this on the internet at all... :headscratch:

attention please must have attracted a lot of new fans (ie me...).... now our already slim chance is getting even slimer...
statistically speaking you could also conclude that the kind of people that browse the internet a lot and takes part in online surveys are the kind of people that like Aya...
if this wasn't an online survey, a sample of 10000 can be used as a world class survey to show the preference of the general population...

so this is a TV program right? would Aya be in it? if so where can we dl it?

you have a skyline? I saw the trailer... For some reason the scenes in the trailer looked a bit like tokyo in the mid 90s to me.... maybe it's their hair style or something..

When I get a Skyline, I'll let you know. :naughty:
Actually, I think a lot of the movie is filmed in real tokyo. There's a super cool part in the movie, where you know how those huge groups of people cross the street in tokyo? The cars beep at them to move out of the way and they drift rightttt through them. soooo crazy!

I guess we'll never get aya now that she's the "most wanted girlfriend" in Japan. :grumble: aya must feel good about herself... I HOPE she doesn't become stuck up like some other people. Because if you are the most wanted girlfriend.. you definantely might start thinkin you're better than everyone else. :beaten:

I don't think she'll become that kinda person
I wouldn't like her if she did become one :shakehead:

you must be talking about Shibuya Crossing...it's probably the most famous intersection in all of Japan...i've posted this here before but this is where I'm referring to.

I so need to go and see tht movie... it's got cars, it's got Tokyo..which is basically everything I like...except Aya and guns..(I am also a gun nut actually...)

I think Aya's a nice girl tht won't do tht if her real personality is anything like we see on TV... (althou it would be funny if she's really bitchy in real world... :beaten: )
but either way her stalker-o-meter will probably be rising to a new high now... :shakehead:

More people waiting outside her house eating cup ramen as they wait for her to arrive home or leave house :beaten:

I haven't been to Tokyo, so I can't say much if the movie was filmed there. It would be expensive for them to film he whole thing there though
In the Movies Thread in General Discussion.....didn't someone say the movie didn't portray Japan life very well nor Japanese people and their sense in style :headscratch:

Domyoji...

I'm sure they filmed a lot of scenes on location in Japan but to say that the ACTUAL people in the movie represent the actual fashion or culture of Japan is probably inaccurate.

like i said earlier...i bet they hired a lot of Japanese-Americans as extras which is a whole 'nother ball of natto.

tht's wht i thought.. the hairstyle and everything looked more like japanese american rather than the kind of japanese we see in doramas or well in japan... But then I've only seen the trailer so i am not accurate...

speaking of natto... I think I am hooked to it now.... :bleh: ...it's all aya's fault... :beatyou:

If you checked out the link Triky gave me. It shows Japanese clothing style. I forgot if it showed everything from Tokyo, suburbs or whatever or even the clothes they wear for night life, like clubbing
But yea, its completely different

the japanese don't all dress so electically but they definitely have a more adventorous sense of style than hipsters do here in America.

the website i proved really shows the different fashion trends in different parts of tokyo...
