Hey guys, I just got back from Anime Expo 2006. I had a great time and part of the incredible experience was seeing the screenings of Azumi and checking out the Azumi booth at the exhibit hall. A lot of people were drawn into watching the movie when they passed by the booth, and they even got cool stuff on display (see pictures). Apparently, the director was there to sign autographs. Though, it would be so cool if Aya was actually there, but that's just wishful thinking ^^;;

hell...i haven't been to an anime convention in years but if she appeared....i'd even go. it would be a mob scene...can you imagine....

i would show up with a several packs of natto and ask her to sign them.

If it was the original outfit? I guess not.
But I wonder why they promote Azumi 1 there now? I mean that movie is ages old and also Azumi 2 out. Any asia movie or Anime fan probably has seen it long ago already... :headscratch:

@Free: Not a lot of folks here know about the Azumi movie or about Aya. A good amount of anime otakus only stay updated on anime in general and not about the Jmovies....so promoting the movie here is a good thing :mrgreen:
