I like Jackie chan a lot. But most of the US made Jackie movies sucked big time. The chinese are great, though :mrgreen:

I watched tht too... I thought the fighting, jumping and etc... were nice but i was really confused by the storyline.... :headscratch:

I know Rush Hour 1 and 2 were US made, but i think First Strike and Rumble in the Bronx were too.

Rumble in the Bronx was great. But it was chinese. First Strike was OK, too, right.
The Shanghai Knights were quite bad, in my opinion. And the last Police Story wasnLt bad but a bit boring. Not the usual action and comedy like the other Jackie movies.

Yes, the story of the last Police Story was good but it lacked a bit of action and comedy, I think.
Thunderbold was cool, yes. And I love Gorgeous a lot. Many donLt like it but I think it was very cute and funny. I like Hsu Chi since then a lot, too :mrgreen:
The Tuxedo and Medallion are bad examples for US Jackie movies, too.

oh i liked that one best too, zhang ziyi was great in it :) even if she said hardly anything!
i loved the police story ones too. my pre-teen and early teen years were spent watching kung fu films and manga cartoons :)
i've still got millions upon millions of them on vhs! i used to love the dominion tank police manga cartoons they were cool. could get aya to play the lead role of leona in that if they did a film haha

totally agree! I loved the rush hours! I think Jackie chan and chris tucker make a prefect match. How they work together and hate each other. Basically, 2 cultures collide :hehe: I've seen a lot of jackie's old chinese movies, great i must say! But i've watched every single movie jet li has made :sweat:

and yea, Zhangziyi is realllie pretty. Her gangster role in the movie is awesome! Too bad she doesn't know much english =
