She's definately not one of my favourite actress.... Honestly,i dunno why but i find her annoying.. Sorry to her fans ><. Nevertheless,i can't wait to watch Shinigami. It's her acting with takeshi kaneshiro

Manami Konishi saves children in new drama

Actress Manami Konishi has had a couple roles in the past as a doctor or nurse, but now she will be stepping up to play a hospital director. She will star in TV Asahi's medical drama "Shoni Kyumei ~Kodomotachi no Tame ni, Sono Mirai no Tame ni~" this fall.

In recent years, many large hospitals have been forced to close their pediatrics departments, leading to a shortage of medical attention available to children across Japan. Konishi plays a doctor who leaves a large hospital to start a children's hospital.

The show premieres in October. It will run in TV Asahi's Thursday 9:00pm time slot.

She was a doctor in Churasan too. And I never realised how tall she is until I saw her in Churasan :nut:

Have you seen Ashita no, Kita Yoshio http://jdorama.com/drama.1245.htm it's been subbed. It's a great drama, maybe my favorite from 2008. It got terrible ratings which I'm beginning to use as an inverse indicator if a dramas any good or not. [/list:u]
