as harushitko mentioned, there is no second season to IWGP.
There is however, a special.

you'd be missing out if you disregarded this special....it was just as funny as many of the episodes of the original series.

the inside jokes references to other kankuro dramas are hilarious.

I can recommend the special :victory: It doesnLt surpass the series of course, but it has a proper story, almost no flashbacks (as mentionned by Tu_triky) and a great dosis of IWGP humour! :applaud:

Think about it...it starred Ken Watanabe....

Yea, he's awesome in this! He's really hard to read, tho. I love that.

he would never be in a show like that now.

How come?

That dood is an international film star....he's way past doing television I think...I mean he's even had some serious successes in American film...I think he will rarely star in Japanese TV here on out.

Ohhhhhhh well that makes sense. I just realized that this drama is eight years old.

I'm not tryin' to sound like a know-it-all...but don't you think when many actors find success in cinema...they seem to drop off the silver screen (i.e. TV)
