Was watching Tentai on the local channel and i realize i miss Joe a lot! It's been ages since i saw something with him. Heard that he has a drama showing in Japan now. Anyone with any idea what it is about?

I know it's a Fuji drama, and will start in Japan on 1/17. The main character of the drama is played by Takeuchi Yuko, and also stars Uchino Masaaki, Odagiri Joe & Kobayashi Satomi.
The only thing I know about the storyline is that it's supposed to be a love story and Takeuchi Yuko's character believes that all men cheat, but it's not really their fault. It's because they have a gene that causes them to cheat. (or something like that!) :sweat:

Mystery solved!! He said there was that series 5 years ago (that you propably know) that was for kids.. But with the kids mothers were watching too.. So, mothers became very interested on him :P
Unfortunatelly the only movie i have seen is Azumi and that's where i found out about him... He acted amazingly there..

The series you are talking about has got to be Kamen Rider Kuuga. That is a superhero kind series.
The older lady in his life is(or was, no idea which) Mizuno Miki, the leading lady in Hatsu Taiken. That was also where they met.

I agree. According to many news stories written on the Tokusatsu craze in Japan, there are a lot of young mothers who are really into the shows because of the young good looking men in them (which is the same reason why I watch!). Apparently, Joe started to get very popular after appearing in Kuuga!
