BTW, i got Tanuki-Goten, it 's a musical i guess you know, not as good as i thought , i mean the part of ZIYI ZHANG, she speaks some monologue in Chinese and that makes the atmosphere weired as a whole, moreover, with very strong accent the Japanese part of her sounds so strange. frankly, i totally cannot understand why director chose a non-Japanese to star as Tanukihime. but the soundtrack of this movie is quite good! you can hear Joe's charming voice, he sings two songs inside.

hello Ciao2x, do you have a lil sample for us to hear his voice? im really curious what he sounds like :sweat: and thanks for the review, im thinking of getting that and shinobi really soon.

Violin has only the director edition on cdjapan and yesasia. Is it available in standard edition elsewhere?

Urgh! I may just end up getting Tanuki. Though his singing is so-so from the site, it'll be good seeing him. Just can't stand Zhang... :usuck: The OST has only 3 of Joe's songs, 1 solo and 2 with Zhang. Did the songs leave an impression when you watch it?

Maison will be released on the 3rd of March, SH on the 24th. Maison's OST is already available in CDJapan.

It's a drama special. Taken from an ebay site.

This drama is based on the true story of Shogen Shin, a young boy growing up in Korea during the war. One day a traveling salesman who performs magic with special instrument amazes him. Later on, he realizes that this magic is actually music coming from a violin. He is inspired by his teacher to start playing and learns a great deal about life. But when his teacher suddenly gets drafted for war, Shogen decides he should become inspiring to others like his teacher was for him.

Like Tsuyoshi too, but there're no english subs for the Director's edition. The torrent is available in D-addicts if you are interested. There were also comics based on the story. Think they are only in chinese. Which reminds me...i've to ask the comic shop again if they can bring it in for me. :mrgreen:

honestly i do not care whatever Joe sings as long as i have chance to hear his charming voice since in Europe its not easy as other fans to get stuff of him :woot: you are going to end up getting Tanuki-Goten, aren't you? it might be a wise choice though. i cannot stand Zhang either, it's so creepy to see her performance in that movie! :usuck:

Maison sounds good at least much better than Tanuki-Goten in repect of story, directing and acting, but i am so starving for Shinobi!!! :shamefulcry: God bless me to get it ASAP!!!

You're welcome. :) Did you know that Joe has got 2 singles? The cover is really not that fantastic. :nut: I'm hoping that Tanuki will get to Singapore since Zhang is in it. Maison does sound interesting. Can't wait for the release!

Just watched the first couple of episodes of "Jikou Keisatsu". I really like it! Although I have a biased opinion since I like Keiji dramas. :sweat:

His hair is as wild as usual, but for some strange reason he looks good in it! :hehe:

hey Wai, i've heard that there are some BT sites could download the three released episodes of "jikou keisatsu" without eng subs, but in Europe according to strict regulation on BT, i don't try it yet. Maybe you can browse some Chinese BT sites where my friend told me that many Japanese shows could be downloaded freely even including the shows which are just released a couple of days ago. :mrgreen: good luck!

PS: i am so curious if Singapore also limites BT download as most European countries. for us many web service providers set up a special process on web system in order to prevent such behavior.

Heh...have not been to d-addicts for some time now. I'm not so sure about file-sharing here, but illegal dl-ing of music is illegal. Does anyone know if it's illegal to dl j-dramas? Have not been dl-ing other than 1 litre. :fingerscrossed:
