You know, I thought I was going to marry young but later as soon as I got a steady job things started to change. Well, what's the point of getting married to soon if I ended up in court for divorce. :hehe:
Well, just don't end up like me you guys. I'm gonna be 39 this year and not married nor am I planning on getting married. I've been independent for so long that I don't think I can handle another relationship (haven't had a boyfriend since my 2nd year of college.) :P
Kinda got to like being able to go and do what I want to when I want to so it would be very hard for me to learn how to compromise now! ;)
rinrin s'all good :thumbsup: , i have a friend who's 40 and she still lives with her parents, shes too cool though, i mean honestly i dont look down to people who doesnt get married, heck i think if they love to do or accept life w/o depending on getting married and have kids, then kudos for them.. for me, i see myself not getting married yet, no matter how people say u only find happiness to a different person, i can live w/o them hehe and i dont even think of that stuff.. im still young at heart.. while others, my niece and cousins would think about getting married with their bfs.. and they'd think just bec. i have a bf i would think of marriages once we get together for a long time.. it doesnt work that way on me.. i think it would take me at least more than 8 years for me to prove myself marrying that person, cuz i know how time flies so fast and one day it'd be just like yesterday that happen.. heck for my friends they think 1 year is a long time while im with this guy for 4 years =T
anyway i used to worry about that, but i dont long for marriages, right now im glad i met yall bec. i dont feel alone nomore thinking bout that, so yeh we all have our own perspective in life, besides i think i want to explore more of myself, seeking good jobs after i graduate college. :mrgreen:

hey...being single is not bad at all girl! You know it's like choice of life. I would not get married just for the sake of getting married..that's a lame excuse!

And THAT's just another reason why the field of English will be relevant 'til the end of time. I'd like to see all universities patronize the logo: "English . . . the only REAL major at university." Or something that better emulates Coca Cola's "the real thing," you know what I'm getting at.
