LOL! I think you'll be okay!

I shouldn't have spent so much money in Japan. Now I gotta save up money again so I can buy the DVD for Joe's new movie. :(

Hey..when you're on vacation...SPEND YOUR MONEY GIRL!!! :beaten:

You've been to London?! Cool!! I keep trying to talk my sister into going somewhere besides Japan, but we always end up going there (partly cuz I need to go buy my manga! :P ).
9 Jun 2004, 01:35 #785
Yeah, I went there for no particular reason, meeting some old friends
that's where I met Hiroyuki Sanada too... :beaten: If you want to spend your cash...Go at the end of December until January...BIG SALE!!!
*faint*

Japan is fun, but it's hard when you look Japanese. Everyone speaks Japanese to you since they assume you speak the language. They speak too fast for me sometimes! :(

London looks like it would be fun...I gotta try harder to talk my sister into going there!

Heh..that's tough. Besides they hardly speak English there..or do they start to speak english properly now?
9 Jun 2004, 02:01 #788
It depends. Most of the hotel workers and many of the train station employees are required to speak some English. A lot of the younger people can speak some English. But a lot of the older people, or people who work in the smaller stores don't speak very much or no English.

Oh well, it's a good way to learn Japanese. My japanese has gotten much better since I force myself to reply in Japanese. :P

Yup, yup, yup...very true....i still remember the time when one of my really good friends tried teaching an "Obasan" how to say the word, "sympathetic" because she said it sounded cool when i said it....my friend couldn't even pronounce it herself correctly, let alone try teaching it to a 80 year old "Obasan" who, i swore, was deaf....*eh :nut: :google: *

I really need to polish my Japanese..I got to take those lessons properly... So many things to do so little time..Anyhow, as long as I bump into Joe, I wouldn't have a problem to speak up to him...hehehehe..since his english is very good.

So, again Joe...you and me..onsen..say no more :hehe: :beaten: :naughty:
