Yeah i can't remember what 'that smell' Keitaro is referring to, it has been too long since i have watched and read Love Hina.

Love Hina seems kinda derivative of Maison Ikkoku to me. Takahashi Rumiko rules!

the manga is 10 times farnie n raunchier than the anime. the anime is a poor adaptation of the manga.
