Hee hee... you guys can meet up with Aka-chan, Mixx-chan, rinrin-chan, and Betsy-chan, we're thinking of going to a Tokio concert in Tokyo in 2006. :woot: :yippee:

I'll bail all of you out of jail afterwards for stalking Mabo-san and Tomoya-san. :hehe:

Yes! Me too. I bought the box set with mandarin subtitles (I can't read chinese and don't understand Japanese) and finished the dorama by watching it all night (didn't sleep). I cried during the scene where Hajime called Yukari and talked to her (she's already dead btw) on the answering machine and I don't even understand what he was talking about :hehe:

I love that story.

I've got some of his pictures in my collection but I found out that I can't upload them directly here. What a bummer, thought I want to share.

But hey, these are some sites that I got them from:
http://listen.to/tomoya (some good tokio songs to download)
http://www.geocities.com/nagase_online/tgallery6.html
http://d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=163316

I'm sorry if they're old news for some of you, but it's really difficult to find sites on him with good pictures.

Infact, I can't find any interviews or stories on him dated after 2003 (http://www.geocities.com/kamisen_2000/nagase.htm), maybe because that year he was in Mukodono 2. Of course, in Japanese there maybe tons of them but since I can't read Japanese just yet (am planning to take classes end of this year), they're pretty useless. But I saved the links anyway since who knows, I may be able to one day :say_cool:

Here're some links I found interesting although some of them are old. Please Ctrl F->Tomoya or Nagase to find stuff on him.
http://www.reedexpo.co.jp/ioft/english/postshow/place.html
http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Pagoda/9602/award10.htm
http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Pagoda/9602/award0999.htm

For Mukodono, he got the Best Drama Actor & Best Actor award by a J-sports magazine (http://us.yesasia.com/en/artIdxDept.aspx/aid-984/code-j/section-videos/) and amazingly got a page all to himself in Big in Japan (http://metropolis.japantoday.com/biginjapan/374/biginjapaninc.htm). There's also a page on Ayumi,hmm...wonder if there's a connection?

Anyone else stumble on current sites lately? Also, I would like to know how people from as far away as Hawaii and Peru can get a hold of the Dash programs? I'm so jealous. I visited a site recommended by someone here with the intention of buying a cd on Johnny's Taiiku no Hi Fan Kansha-sai limited edition if possible (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=GNBW-1005) and I found that it's already out of print :argh:

I am such a latecomer :shamefulcry:

I got 92 pictures of him in my folder (selected ones) and it's quite difficult to keep them a secret from my husband since we share the same laptop. Once he nearly found me out, and I'm like..."What did you mean? I don't understand what you're talking about?"

I want to go to Japan too. Hopefully in 2007/2008. I got it all figured out. The only thing that's missing in the equation is the organisation who's going to fund me. Hmmm

I got the impression that Japan is a clean country from Tomoya. There are some scenes in his doramas that indicate this: as Hajime Ansai when he lies down on a pier/dock (where boats or yatchs anchor) and on the grass after he's bicycled all the way up a small hill, as Sakuraba Yuichiro when he again lies down on the grass in a park (I think), as Yusaku when he and Junosuke lie down on the grass (either that, or the ground) and are both staring wistfully at that woman who looks exactly like Yui-san and as Kosuke Kindaichi when he lies down on the road while talking to Akechi in the university compound.

And then, there's this scene where Sonoko and Fuyumi, the two girl friends in Wataru's clique, splash around in some sort of a channel or big drain (well, it looks like a big drain to me) in the Hakusen Nagashi 2001 special. I mean, I can't think of anyone who would want to splash around in the channels we have here in Malaysia. My friends say it's the same anywhere for developing countries and Japan is a developed one, so it's not a fair comparison. But hey, shouldn't we start cleaning up our country now? Pretty soon it'll get too expensive to clean up all the mess we've accumulated.

I watched the TOKIO 1999 concert (DVD of course) and the Japanese crowd amazed me. I mean, there's this scene that shows Tomoya singing near the audience and right infront of him was a mother holding her 1-2 year old child swaying to the music. I wonder how long was the concert and how long did she have to stand there (no seat for front rows) waving that fancy light (the ones people always wave around crazily at concerts nowadays) left-right-up-down to the music in one hand and her baby in another. Mad, really mad. And I'm so crazy jealous of her for being there, I don't know what to say.

Ah, to be in Kanagawa...

oo..so u are married! heheheh.... :bonk:
24 Jul 2005, 23:19 #1499
btw, hakusen nagashi special has sub?
25 Jul 2005, 12:23 #1500
Yep, married and happily too. But that doesn't stop me from thinking about Tomoya all the time :crazy2: :hehe:

Mandarine one, no BM or English subtitle on sight. I bought 2 specials: IWGP and Hakusen Nagashi. Both are like that :mecry: . Mula2 tak nak beli dulu sebab cuba juga nak cari yang ada BM subtitle kan. But, in the few weeks I left the CDs in their respective racks in that shop I lived in fear of them being gone by the time I'm desperate enough to buy them. So, I bought them anyway. I was so thankful that they were still there :hot:

The IWGP has a lot of entertaining moments so even though I don't understand what they're saying the story is interesting to follow. It has some cute and cool Tomoya moments. But the HN special, mmm... I won't recommend buying it without understanding the subtitle coz it's all talk...talk...talk :grumble: But hey, Tomoya's still sporting his beautiful long hair in that so at least I can concentrate on something
