They were doing a server move. It's down for me too at the moment. Maybe we have to wait for a DNS refresh.

The new IP address for d-addicts is 67.19.121.242, if you get something else when you resolve the hostname, it is probably due to the old IP address being cached.

A reboot might clear your cache, dunno, or just wait for the cache to expire.

Hmm, now I see it resolving to 205.209.179.70, and nothing is there. Weird.

i didnt notice any problem today on d-addicts.
25 Sep 2004, 05:36 #389
argh, i just posted something in the forum and a few clicks later i get only the c-panel page telling "There is no website configured at this address." :banghead:

Other ppl can still(?) access it... weird. must be my stupid ISP.:shoot:

EDIT: now I get redirected to the board. :jumpie:

I think d-addicts is still having DNS problems. If you know how to tweak your hosts file, you could put an entry for www.d-addicts.com pointing to 67.19.121.242 as a temporary solution.

Usually DNS problems take a little while to correct because of caching.

Having DB problems at the moment and the host is away so the site will be down for a while.

My HD is still a mess :hehe: :hehe:

Your hd is a mess?? Mine is in worse condition than yours... When I do that analyze option for degraging I have streaks of blue bars from left to right with a bunch of white space inbetween each streak, which equals all my data is scattered across my hd and not together... No wonder my computer acts all slow... :shakehead: :banghead:

HAHAHAHA that ain't good :hehe: :hehe:
Although I prob should defragment this thing soon. I usually don't like to leave my comp on over night and I only do it when I seed something so I never get the chance to defragment anymore

Hi Ruroshin! seems to be the week for site issues. Oh well. Any idea how long it might be before the site is back up?

Hmm... seems like Jem's tracker and site are down too. sad week for drama fans. Might have to deal with the real world for a while... :shakehead:

I also tried accessing the d addicts site for 2 days now and i still can't. I even tried refreshing it, I always get the error that this page can not be displayed. Does everybody else have the same problem? Is this site temporary down?
27 Sep 2004, 11:13 #400
I don't know what host they use, but I have some friends over at Animeconnection.net which hosts bt tracker stuff, and their site is unmetered. They have some deal with their host. Though I have no idea what it costs for them, I think it's less than $50, but I don't know about $40. I can check if you like.
