It is possible that the people behind this is some copyright organization? They like to flood every torrent site even if the only thing you're seeding is Linux. :beatyou:
The tracker is down too...
:puppydog:  :shamefulcry:
Edit:
OK, maybe not... Sorry, just slow to connect...

And tonight was the last episode of H2. :banghead:
hmm down down down ........i want up up up :grumble:
sigh... just when I found out some of my drama collection is burnt onto corrupted DVDs  ... that aside, yup, a D-A to the bone :bonk: and suffering withdrawal.
people really gotta find a better outlet for their repressed anger. it's really a shame. i can only hope that when these people grow older, someone else will hack into their computers and cause them the same grief. :shakehead:

Heh, I understand the feeling. I downloaded the Friday the 13th an Nightmare on Elm Street movie series (18 gigs total, oof!) a while back, only to find that 9 of the movie files had corrupted bits right before burning them off. Rechecked them with Az, and they ranged from 97-99% completed. Weird....

97%... I wish I had that.... CRC error on DVD disc... had to use Isobuster to salvage what I can... after bitcomet did a hash on the 'salvaged' file, I got 2.7% :shamefulcry: ... and this happened for multiple files, the highest being 21%... :banghead:
hmm do you think it's down cos of the new server ??
@darenz... we just have to wait til ruro posts more news. Or just keep checking d-addicts... :fingerscrossed:
There's a memory bug in one of the software, its not fixed yet so it could go down again at any moment. :grumble:

LOL Like this moment right now?
You have my faith and prayers Ruro. In the meantime, I am just going to sit in the corner and :bonk:
Good old memory leaks by a lousy programmer. :shakehead:

no problem accessing d-addicts for me.
i think ruro mentioned that he was postponing the tracker update to today, so that may be why you can't reach it. it also takes some time for the dns to update.
I can access it fine. Not sure if it'll go down later for that update though. I postponed my releases til later this week until d-addicts is done updating :D
@jholic and eltinator...
Ruro already did the move to the new server. Are you guys forgetting that he is on Australian time??? :hehe:
Also, my comp at home is downloading some stuff off of the d-addicts tracker. and it's working fine. :woot:

Ok the tracker has moved to its new server.
It can take anywhere upto 48 hours for the DNS changes to take affect at your end. If you don't want to wait, here's a few things you can do.
If you're using windows xp do the following:
1. open up this file in a text editor like notepad: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
2. if there's an entry in there for d-addicts.net then delete that line. If there isn't any then add this line:
217.172.47.136 d-addicts.net
3. save and close the file.
other OS users I assume you're tech savvy enough to find your own host file.
Alternatively you can do an external announce using your bittorrent client
the announce will be:
http://217.172.47.136:7979/announce

I'll probably to a ping or nslookup to make sure the DNS entry has been updated before I post the next episode of Fireboys.
