Working on it..... :hehe:
:inlove:
On another note, I think Toji was such a wuss.
I mean, I like Abe Hiroshi and all, but that character Toji was just such a wuss.

A wuss? Hmm, I didn't think so. I thought he was more of an opportunist...

Really? Maybe I read the character vibes wrong. I just wasn't feeling him.
Now Kojiro was the sh*t! He could kick anybody's @$$. (Well of course except for MM)

Time to revisit the series. :)

Yep. Truth to tell, Kojiro's swordplay was considerably more dynamic and exciting in the series, than Musashi's... Another example of the "bad guy" being more interesting that the hero... :(

I thought Musashi had some good sword play too. But like you said, Kojiro's just overwhelmed Musashi's. Man, they should've made their duel more exciting. :(

I guess. But the "actual" duel itself was rather short, so they couldn't turn this one into a 30-minute brawl...
In the Inagaki Hiroshi series, Samurai Trilogy, the duel was just as short: they spent more time posturing... :)

Yeah but they could've done a better job on the choriography.
Make it look better, ya know?! :D

Yeah, I know. I'm a bit more forgiving: I thought the duel was okay. :)

I get all bent out of shape when stuff like that happens.
I'm a picky guy.

Me too. But it depends on the subject.

I believe in a real life duel with samurai swords...the fight would be short. It's just not realistically possible to continue to bang swords and dodge the swings by the swords. Somebody is going to get cut or both would get cut in a short period of time.
I wish the battle was longer but historical accounts I guess show the duel was short.
The duel I saw in the early 80's had Musashi utilize the sun reflection off the ocean to his advantage. This didn't happen in this most recent series.

That was also the case in Inagaki's Trilogy. :)
