I'm lookin' forward to receive this book !!!!!! I can't wait !!!!!

bmwracer wrote:There's no doubt that Yachigusa Kaoru's Otsu was considerably more fragile the Ryoko-chan's Otsu, but both Otsu's were demure, single-minded, and driven to be with Musashi. It might be that Ryoko-chan's supermodel looks overpowered the character she played.

(Yeah, I'm replying to a post made 4 months ago ... sooorry!)

I was just watching the old Miyamoto Musashi movie, and I wondered about the actress who played Otsu (Yachigusa Kaoru). I find her face distinctive, and she looked familiar. So I looked her up in the jdorama db ... she's the lady who ran the orphanage in Food Fight. I'm glad she's had a good long career. Good for her!
