I wouldn't quite call Musashi a girlie man...but running away from someone that walked through hell to find you. I just didn't understand that, even with Musashi's reasoning that he couldn't break his journey of training.

But you have to give him much respect. He was set on achieving his goal, and he didn't let anything or anyone stop him. Weaker willed men would have broken their training immediately. But still...

But would Otsu really distract him that much? It looked like she would have gone anywhere he needed to finish his training. Women aren't usually a weakness for a guy unless he's like Matahachi....

I still wish I could find the Japanese sketch comedy show that parodied Musashi. Watching Musashi run in a straight line over a green field killing schoolgirls, salary-men, JAL attendants, tea-drinkers, old men and women was funny as hell.... I think it was supposed to be "Musashi...in 60 seconds."
