I think everyone who managed to get along with Matahachi was Osugi's enemy. Otsu, Musashi, I'm sure Akemi as well, etc etc etc...

I'm glad Musashi has higher moral values than I do. I probably would have separated her head from her neck early on.

Yeah, that lady was really good a playing an old wretch.

It always seems that the bad/mean characters are juicier roles for actors to really dig into...

Well, from roleplaying I have to say... bad characters are more fun and more challenging. Good guys... boring.

Most likely because the good guys have rules and moral ethics to live by and the bad guys have no constraints, so it's a free-for-all for the actor... :)
