I hope it's okay that I'm posting this without checking the whole thread first, but seeing as how it's 62 pages long and I don't see a thread search (if I missed it, please point it out ^^').

Is anyone else looking forward to the upcoming Hana Kimi drama? I've seen the Taiwanese version and I really enjoyed it, so I'm really curious to see how this one will turn out.

The Search function is located at the top of the page... It's not the best, but if you know what you're doing, you'll get the results you want.

from japan-zone.com

The popular TV Asahi period drama series "Hissatsu Shigotonin" is making its comeback after 15 years, with some help from Johnny's Jimusho. Long-time star Fujita Makoto (74) will revive his role as "assassin for hire" Nakamura Mondo in an upcoming special, but the new series will become a vehicle for Shonentai member Higashiyama Noriyuki (40). The special will feature two other Johnny's stars, Tokio's Matsuoka Masahiro (30) and Ookura Tadayoshi (22) of KanJani8, so the show will have pretty boys for all ages. Fujita said, "The Hissatsu series is a brand name. I want (Higashiyama) to take it over and keep it going forever." The special airs on July 7 at 9pm.

Fujita Makoto is an excellent actor... He was great in Musashi. And Higashiyama Noriyuki was really good in Kuitan...

But if everyone's gonna play up the pretty boy angle, forget it... I've been through that crap once already with Gokusen: Nakama Yukie made that show, not pouty, coiffed, lipgloss Matsujun. :bleh:
