was reading 2ch.. & pple notice tat Shimao uses black ribbon for his bouquet of flower (:wow: they watch very carefully eh)... kinda agree tat black ribbon is quite unusual eh.. & this shows tat he hated Toru ?! cant be rite... anyway, Shimao's expression at the hospital doesnt look like he hates him tat much... its probably coincidental tat the ribbon is black (or maybe its dark blue, green?) ...

I rewatched that scene...it's kinda difficult to tell whether it's black or dark blue. But Shimao does look wicked & he wears a black/dark navy tie...in contrast with Kaori whom he met in the hospital lobby. Kaori wears in white again (of course, angel), & the ribbon is pink!

think it's gone wild in epi 10 again. Exactly like you said, nikyy, didn't Toru have shares in Frontier? Didn't he gain some $$ when Lloyd Bros acquired Frontier? Nanami had said in epi 8 (when they were working frantically to prevent the buy-over), Frontier shares were extremely expensive?! :beaten:

i think Toru did tat intentionally ah.. out of spite & jeolousy & fear of Shimao overshining him :mrgreen:

Oh, I see. Falling in luv with Toru is easy for us here :rofl: Toru in the first few epis before his downfall certainly outshone everyone with power & charisma, & of course $$$

But falling in luv w/ the job??? Whose job? Toru's? Shimao's? Kaori's? Ryuta's? (dun mind me, I'm just :blahblah: )

Though his change in the last 2 epis has been drastic & unbelievable, Tsuyoshi deserves some :applaud: for his acting: he does look evil with his *kira kira* eyes; think he's even worse than Takayanagi (who can be a joker & dandyish at times) :hehe:

Toru must regret for promoting Shimao liao. But still 4 me, Shimao acts just a little too rash (not if he's been planning to take over Toru since Day 1) because getting your proposals banned by your boss is *so common* in the biz world. This is just not what reality is! Shimao would have been fired on the day when his first assignment fell thru (was it the toy shop)? Ok, maybe not the toy shop acquisition, coz the toy web auction earned lots of $$. But he would be sacked for the dessert shop acq.? Or Air Dream? I know I would be if I were him!!!! :bonk:

the strange thing is .. sometimes i feel tat Toru is more likeable than Koda leh :bonk: .. for me, Koda is too inflexible & the reason the scriptwriter gave for his "cyborgness" ie the plane crash tat happened 12 years ago somehow casts a negative light on Koda :bonk: .. & just coz Noriko was there when the news of the plane crash came out, he decides to shut her out :beatyou: ... Shinkai compares to Shimao (before he turns into darth vader), is a more likeable character eh

u know what, I had the same thot right this morning!!! :bonk: think Toru's dad must be the culprit for Shimao's dad & their family's hardship; so this is Shimao's ultimate motive: avenging his grudge!!! :mwahaha:

I dun hate Toru at all since Day 1 :bonk: I actually have been with him all along, supporting most of his decisions (except maybe I dun really like his treatment of Nanami, when she was sick :beatyou: ) coz I think I'd do similar things if I were him. Protecting interests & profits of my own company is first and foremost! To conquer the world is important! :metaldevil:

Even the rose garden & the hotel acq., I think it's understandable...(I am a hopeless Toru sympathesizer! :bonk: ) the roses mean a lot of not-so-fond memories for him liao. But for the Morino guy (is that his name?), Toru is just a bit too cold-blooded! :shakehead:

Neither do I think profoundly while watching the show...I am always focused on Shin-chan, well, maybe for 8 minutes in each epi :bonk: Fixated on every detail of him, rite down to the way he flutters his eyelashes! :bonk:
