I must also admit that the movie is not my cup of tea; in fact I detest the subject matter so much that I skipped all parts except those scenes in which Shin chan appeared, and I watched it with the sound muted.

Tsutsumi san's look is a need-not-discuss issue. i mean i really don't know how he can make himself look bad or simply not handsome. Japanese war movie is not my cup of tea either and Tsutsumi san is exactly the most Jappy, crazy guy in the plot . . . i do hope that he can avoid charactor that he himself does not agree with, or if that's what he doens't mind doing, . . . then . . . well let's put our focus back to his marvellous acting.
i asked both of you because you have watched the show...
dorama: you dislike the subject too?
ash: wow....surprised that most of you dont like to watch Japanese war movies.
as for me, i liked to watch war movies BUT NOT Japanese war movies! i detest the storyline of the movie BUT i still continue to watch the whole movie because i dont want "my super fast forward method" to miss out any Tsutsumi's scene. :hehe:
i just rewind to play again for umpteen times when i saw his scenes. :hehe: if you dont bother to finish the movie, i can summarise for you all.....basically it's boasting about Japanese's strength in WWII. i guess all of you should know the B***S*** behind it. :naughty:
i really hope that Tsutsumi is acting in that role for the sake of acting only cos i couldnt imagine if he really has that type of nationalism thinking .
pardon me for saying this: i really think he looks good when he limped..he made us pity him when he walked...Argh!!! i dont mind giving him a helping hand!!!!! :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:
