i saw this somewhere....Enjoy~! :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:

Basically, Kusanagi Tsuyoshi plays SUZUKI SHIMAO (—é–Ø “‡’j). Whenever he is asked to how to spell his name properly, he always has this cheesy way of saying it, "ƒAƒCƒ‰ƒ“ƒh‚É’j‚Å‚·" --a man on an island. And everyone is like, "ƒAƒCƒ‰ƒ“ƒh???" Anyway, to put it simply, Shimao lives with his mom (and I think older sister, but can't be sure) and while they're by no means upper middle class, they get by with precisely timed savings from their factory every month. I forget what business it is now. Shimao is the type to believe that money doesn't make happiness, nor is it everything. His sister comes over one day, pays her monthly living expenses to mom, sits down to dinner, and on the TV there's a super famous rich man named TAKAYANAGI TORU--she gushes, and Shimao simply states his happiness lies in eating with the family, like they are now.

Anyway, Shimao tells his friend that he has finally saved up 50,000 yen ($5,000) and wants to use it to take his mother--to his friend's shock, asking "When was the last time you had a girlfriend??"--to Hawaii on vacation. However, coming home that night with his friend from the bar, another one of their workers is getting the living daylights beat out of his skinny frame by some loansharks. Shimao asks him what's wrong and he confesses, "Boss, I've borrowed money and I can't pay it all back! My mother was so sick, so sick...!"

Shimao asks how much it is. It is, "50,000 yen." Shimao pulls out his bank book and states firmly, "I have 50,000 yen in here." His friend tells him he's an idiot, but Shimao is the type to believe that money doesn't make happiness, nor is it everything, right? His mom may be disappointed, but she'll survive it, he says.

The next day at a random fair somewhere in town, there's a lottery ball box (for lack of the correct word). Shimao decides to give it a whirl. He spins the box and the balls inside go swishing around and out of all the duds, out comes the golden ball. Yes, Shimao won 50,000 yen.

Hawaii. Shimao and his mother have a damned fabulous time followed by cheesy smiles, a hilariously awkward man in a suit following them around just so he can clear his throat and say you're in my way, or other rude things like, "If you eat lobster and make a sound, it's so rude" at the tour group Luau. Shimao in his excitement accidentally knocks a woman named SHIRAKAWA KAORI into a hotel pool as he runs by. Good thing she's Japanese and they have a huge apology and his mother invites her to their tour group Luau. Kaori, who seems like a busy business lady doesn't appear like the type to come.

But she does, and she starts eating the aforementioned lobster with her fingers, and doesn't use her fork and knife like that annoyingly rude man out of nowhere. Shimao is smitten.

The next day, he realizes she's forgotten her planner at the dinner table and goes to her hotel to return it. The front desk man is more than willing to, but Shimao insists that he wants to present HIMSELF. So he does.

He goes in, someone opens the door, and through all of the beautiful furtinure's glimmering light and immaculate white walls and floors of a glorious hotel sweet, there stands Mr. Takanayagi Toru in the flesh. "Oh, thanks for coming, we were just thinking of having lunch," he says very rich-like. Shimao's face is blank and dull. Probably disappointed. Even though Mr. Takayanagi meant that he had places set for 3.

They sit down, have lunch, and Shimao notes how Mr. Takayanagi and Ms. Shirakawa have a lovely talk throughout lunch. They sip on some wine early in the morning, to which Shimao asks, "You drink in the daytime?" and Mr. Takayanagi gives a very pompous and fluffy speech about how he has wanted to drink this wine and succeed and blah blah. And Shimao asks a very interesting--but bothersome--question, "But why do you want to succeed so much more and go through all of that trouble when the thing you want you are so clearly drinking now?"

Mr. Takayanagi looks firmly into Shimao's eyes with a smile and says, "You aren't cut out for business, I see." They see him out, Mr. Takayanagi gives him his business card saying, "Contact me anytime." Shimao tells him that he doubts that'll ever happen (this is dramatic irony). Shimao and his mother return to Japan, skipping up the narrow road to their--

OH. MY. GOD. THEIR HOUSE IS BEING RAMSACKED BY MOVERS WITH AN AGENDA! It turns out that poor worker from Shimao's company took advantage of his kind actions and messed up his finances, took the 50,000 yen and then scrammed. I don't know the details about it, but that included having the SUZUKI household repossessed. Shimao's mother faints standing outside of the house/company/home that her deceased husband had once helped make.

At the hospital, Shimao's mother has something horribly wrong caused by this huge stress. She needs surgery. But it costs nearly a bajillion yen (and dollars, for that matter). Obviously, the Suzuki family HAS NO MONEY. But doctors are cruel people and they don't give a rat's bottom about insurance and dying mothers without the two.

So Shimao tries going to all of these different loan agencies, but they have to look at him like he's nuts to want over 5,000,000 yen and not have some sort of good credit base already with which to base their loan. Or something.

As he's running around, Shimao gets in contact with his sister, where she says,

"“‡’jBBB‚¨•ꂳ‚ñ‚ªBBB‚¨•ꂳ‚ñ‚ªBBBB" That obviously means his mother has now passed away.

Preparing for the funeral of his beloved mother, Shimao is forced to ask the man in charge of a funeral home, "Do you have...a cheaper package?" Which is very sad, because no matter how much a dead person won't mind being in a box or simply cremated, it's always painful to the living ones that they cannot spend a lot of money on these things.

Shimao has a very dark moment in which he talks about how everything he worked so hard for till now couldn't have been money. Then for some unknown godly reason, there's a shot to the TV with Mr. Takayanagi Toru on it. Shimao gazes at the business card he received from Mr. Takayanagi Toru after that.

He decides to run up to the company of Frontier, where Mr. Takayanagi works. They ask all those annoying questions personnel and guards do, "Do you have an appointment?" and "Why do you wish to see him?" A man comes out and says, "We'll be sure to tell him your contact number, what's your name?" Shimao tells him, and then the man walks away, to which Shimao has to remind him, "But you haven't asked any of my contact information."

And he says, "Oh, how rude of me." He's smarmy. Then, they immediately have our determined Suzuki Shimao put on the companie's CAUTION list. But Shimao asks for a job as a guardman of the doors at the company. He gets it.

He is determined to meet with Mr. Takayanagi again. Anyway, there's this big press something or other going on in the building one day, and the computers have gone C-R-A-Z-Y. Everyone is running around with their heads cut off and clucking left and right. The main programmer cannot figure out what's hacked the system. Shimao notices all of the lights off and asks what's wrong. Some crazy man who once threw Shimao out before roughs him up, throws him on the ground, but some lady higher up noticed Shimao looking rather pentitively at the computer screens.

"You can crack this, can't you?"

He tries, he only has 10 minutes.

Well, duh, he figures out what the problem is and everything is smooth sailing. The people who want to hate Suzuki Shimao are feeling PRETTY BITTER NOW.

The higher-up-lady mentions this to Mr. Takayanagi in his office and says.

"Don't you remember Suzuki Shimao???"

"Who?"

And then she shows him an article about Suzuki Shimao.

"I thought I had heard of his name before!"

Suzuki Shimao was apparently, in his college days, labeled a Computer Programming Genius and was in the newspapers for it.

Mr. Takayanagi looks pensively out of his window and says, "Suzuki Shimao."
