the kanji can be read in both ways.. jin or hitoshi ( or maybe even more since japanese kanji have so many ways of readin them\0 and i guess hitoshi is a more common way of sayin that particular kanji..
my name is always mis-read as well.. course my sirname is siantar... and those teachers in singapore will never know how to pronounce it property.. and the wierd thing is for every new teacher i met.. they always try to call me by my sirname... when my name cynthia is like so obvious and much easier to pronounce...

thats why.. japanese kanji are so wierd... for one character.. they can have so many ways of pronoucing it with so many syllabus.. unlike mandarin.. even though we have that 4 diff tone thingie.. but at least one character has only one syllabus.. makes life much easier.. haha!

Just finished watching the HS strong man clip from your blog cynthia and it's so funny!...the guys were like flying when that kickboxer dude was kicking them...lol...he's so mean...but jin managed to win=P...I'm so not use to seeing him be so talkative and kinda leading everything cuz I'm use to seeing Kame do that now...it's like they reversed roles..hehe..but am glad that Jin can be leader when he needs to be=)....he looked good already even when he was so young..haha=P
