yeah, i saw her in a magazine and she is a good actress. I cannot wait until i have the entire series d/l'ed. :victory:

She and Kuriyama were a really good team in Rokubanme no Sayoko. The chemistry between them was just perfect.

An also appeared in Snow Falling On Cedars. While the movie is really one of the kind which put me to sleep, An's performance was one of the few things that kept me awake. Even though she was 10 or 11 at that time, she's pretty much the highlight.

Didn't she play Shakespeare on stage with Fujiwara Tatsuya just 2 (or so) years ago? I think he was Romeo, she was Juliet, whack me if I'm wrong.

almost done d/l'ing the entire series, this one is a good one. I think Anne is a great actress and is very cute.
what other dramas has she been in, i know that she is only 18, but was excellent in Gambatte Ikimasshoi. :applaud:

First saw her in Hana to Alice, and I like how good she can act.
For Initial D, I didn't notice much of her.

Then I just saw the Aoi Tori, and I understand how became famous :woot:

My 1st anne encounter is in The Returner. I watched couple of her movies [Initial D, Kindaichi] but was never really a fan of her till Stand Up. Thought she was great in it. And Ganbatte Ikimasshoi was not bad either...

Ah, ok. What did you all think of Ganbatte Ikimasshoi? I've seen a couple episodes, and I'm not sure whether I should keep watching it or not.

Anne was the lead character in Ganbatte Ik...
it was a ok series, i was slow to finish it, but i did, i liked it overall..
her acting was good.

she was also in Standup j-drama

Stand Up was great. I think I'll want to watch it again before too long. I'm still pretty new to the whole Jdorama scene though, so I'll probably watch some other stuff first.

She was good in Initial D. I'm kinda ticked off that they dubbed over her in both available versions though. It was more of a grown-up role than most of her characters. This is probably because she is getting older, but it's still quite a contrast from Ganbatte.

on a side note, try GTO, and watch that j-drama, one of my favorites, and older one from the '90's but a classic. :applaud:
