I wonder if there's some kinda guide on eating well on the cheap in Japan... Someone's got to have done this.

If not, I'm willing to volunteer.

If there isn't a hardcopy guide of some sort, I'm sure there are some online resources that might fit the bill.

Getting back to the show, I'm gonna try to catalog all the episodes I have on disc and list what dishes are going head-to-head.... No promises on a completion time, though.

Dude you might want to use the wiki to help out in that regard they have a long ass table that catalogs all the episodes, what the vote was, and which dish actually won the day. It's a monster data set.

I can do the same just by skimming through each episode... No simple task, to be sure, but at least the shows are enjoyable. :)

Thanks.

I just think trying to correlate all those episodes with the ones I have on disc would be more difficult than just a direct/fast-forward view of each episode. :)

Just remeber, in Japan, there's no double dipping in the kushikatsu sauce....the Constanza rule.

The easy way would be to divide them into: Smappy loses = Good episode, Smappy wins = Bad episode.
