Some people have dinner on the Eve, some on New Year's Day, I guess.

We chose the Eve, since it's on a Saturday and no one's rushed to get home for work the next day. :)

I would have gone with the Yakiudon. I'm on the losing side again :beaten: But at least I'm consistent

Totally forgot I picked up the ad this week:

ƒtƒHƒ“ƒ_ƒ“ƒVƒ‡ƒRƒ‰ (fondan chocolate [cake]) vs. ƒtƒ‹[ƒcƒ^ƒ‹ƒg (fruits tart)

Prepare for a desserts battle. Bon appetit.

Tonight's menu: Fondant (?) Chocolate vs. Fruit Tart

The chocolate thingy looks a lot like a chocolate lava cake.

I like chocolate, er, dark chocolate, but the fruit tart really caught my attention.

The Fruite Tart wins, 4-3. :woot:

And SMAP guy goes hungry... :hehe:

And so does that older guy with the half-cantelope on his head. :hehe:

In more ways than one...

Serves him right for selling out on his fellow fruit tart cohorts. :hehe:

Chocolate is one of the few things I love more than Manami Konishi, so I knew which side I was going to be on from the beginning(Love is blind) :shakehead:
