Hey, what programs do you guys use to capture videos? Like watching the PV of Ueto Aya..and you want to capture the pics from it..what do you use?

I use Ulead Player..but sometimes the capture option is available and other times it is not..I want a player or program that capture all the time.

I hope thise make sense..bad with computers :beaten: :beaten:

I use PowerDVD for my screencaps.

Powerdvd is good and retains a lot of quality but you'll have to convert it into a jpg since I believe it captures into a bmp. I like using intervideo windvd since it captures directly to jpg and it's already compressed too. I think for some of the MLC screen caps I did, the pics came out to be like only 30-45kb so that's a pretty nice compression from that program :D

Yep. BMP it is.

I guess I'm a purist: I want the image raw then I can choose the compression amount. :)

Hahaha, control what you want to do with the pic and not let the comp decide for you

It might be because I'm using an older version of PowerDVD, but I prefer using Windows Media player and the Print Screen button. The steps are long, but the images are vastly superier, at least for me. PowerDVD screencaps always came out a little jagged for me, anf horrible on widescreens.

For the screencaps, did you choose Window Size or Same as Original?

a good player that handles many different file types for screen capture is BSPLAYER. there's options to save as JPG or BMP.
plus its freeware.
