I agree. The match should have more exciting bits... :bonk:
as much as I like to see hiro with haruka, but I think itfs so sudden ne? I agree with yt, they pairing them up just for the sake of happy ending. :beatyou:
I think pairing Hiro with Haruka is a more welcomed ending. :applaud: Besides Hikari wouldn't choose Hiro when her first love is Hideo. Somehow women are quite faithful to their lovers. Guess it's in women's nature. :hehe: Hikari and Hideo both have strong personalities so they wouldn't reveal too much about themselves. Remember that Hiro mentioned to Hikari that she didn't show her true self to Hideo? That's why I think in the end they decided to separate and work on their communication. :victory:
In the final game The impression that Ifve got they both (hiro and hideo) fight for hikari. and after the game it looks therefs a distance between hiro and haruka. so guys please lighten me up
what is haruka told hiro (after she asked him to throw a ball at her), noda told to hiro after they playing with hideo and what exactly hiro told haruka in the sunset.
Hiro and Hideo were using the final game as a decision point for Hikari to choose between them. Hideo knows that Hikari has a soft spot for Hiro and is uncomfortable about it, thus the game became a turning point in Hikari-Hideo's relationship. Hiro knows about Hideo's question and decides to show Hikari that he is stronger than Hideo. I think Hiro is still grudging over Hikari's dating Hideo back in Junior High. Later he decides to end his grudge by arranging Hideo to battle him again after the game.
Haruka, being a sensitive girl, was thinking alot on her part, mistaking Hiro-Hikari's relationship. I believe Hiro already gave up on Hikari for a while already and their relationship is more of close buddies since they know each other relatively well. Hiro was touched many times by Haruka's sincerity, courage, and passion for baseball. Maybe that's how he fell for her unwittingly... :hehe: On the other hand, Hiro, being a dumb-headed guy, was slow to realize that he likes Haruka and does not know how to express his feelings. That's why there was a distance between Hiro-Haruka after the game. Usually Haruka is the first one that started talking to Hiro and when she kept quiet due to the misunderstanding, their contact is nearly zero.
About that scene with Hiro and Haruka walking in the sunset, Haruka was commenting that she has no regrets in her high school life now that she has played baseball with Hiro (even though she failed to hit the ball and Hiro was actually impressed that she stepped forward to hit the fast-moving ball even though it might hurt her) and she asked Hiro if he has any regrets, hinting at Hikari's relationship with Hiro. Then Hiro decides that he should end his grudge by having a match with Hideo and urges Hideo to have a talk with Hikari who is leaving for studies in the US.
