I'm so proud of myself. I only drank three beers. Want me to bring the rest over BMW? :beaten:

Gomen.

If you've got some chilled nigorizake, I'm all in.

Uh, what happened to cori? She's flown the coop.

When it comes to alcohol, Japanese spirits are hit and miss with me. I think the last thing I had was a sake bomb...I think it was Sapporo mixed with sake. I don't even remember what quality, lol. Although I remember liking shochu the one time I tried it.

I think we scared cori away..... :shamefulcry:

How are you studying it? Via book, drama, video, random Japanese girl? :beaten:

Oops, I'm still here, but busying myself with that program I found. It's really annoying since I can only deal with 33 files at a time.

And half an hour more to go!

Yup, 20 minutes more till the stupid fireworks start. :puppydog:

And damn. I could never wear my contacts for that long. I'm mostly in glasses at home. *insert random nerdy emoticon*

Haha. I actually study it using two sources: YesJapan.com and Elementary Japanese by Yoko Hasegawa. I did take two semesters of Japanese in college. However, everytime I start to get the hang of it, something happens in my life that makes me stop studying it, and I'm back square one. I really, really hate that. I'm starting again and I hope I don't get screwed over again.

Oh, and can we get a pic of you in glasses cori?

My glasses are pretty lame. They're rimless glasses and because they're so light-weight, it's hard for me to go back to trendier rimmed glasses. :(

Ah, I see. What are you studying now? Or should we move this conversation to the Jp language section?

As for glasses pics, um, don't got any.

And the fireworks aren't as bad as I thought they'd be. Unless they're saving the loudest for last.

Don't give up, man. It's worth the effort, even for a dumb gaijin like me ;)

Try www.japanesepod101.com - The audio files are free, and really interesting. I also have as many PDF files as you'd ever need, plus software, the full Pimsleur course plus more if you ever need anything :)

That would be kawaii :)
