Shucks... I have yet to watch Dream boys. Ryo blew me away when he initially sang on epi. 8 on 1 Liter no Namida. That was pretty much acapella, and he was very good at it. He's not mediocre at all like I first thought!

Osaka Rainy Blues is the music video that really got me into Kanjani 8. I like the first version better than the 2nd though. Anything with choreography just turns me off...well before..now I'm used to it. Plus, on the first one, it kinda introduces them and you can see their whole expression when singing :victory:

Kanjimi3 were truly awesome in DB 2006. They played not only for K8's songs but also for KT's songs. That made them LOVE to me! :hehe:

Haha, I second that! Being ignorant as I am in the storyline of DB, I was kinda wishing to hear Ryo singing a solo part in Kizuna (just out of curiosity of what his voice will turn out) coz I thought his role is minimal coz I heard he just joined in the show in later days of January. So I was pleasantly surprised that he really did have a solo part in that song, and I was practically jumping up and down, hehehe... And like you, I rewinded his part all over again and again for the next 30 mins. He really does have a beautiful voice!

They really do! One of the best things about K8, they really do sound good singing LIVE! *heart* to K8! :muack:

Agree, esp Sabaru, he's one of the few In JE who can pull off singing Live and still sound like it's a studio recording. :applaud:

KANJANI 8 -- Subaru is always hyperly weird..at first glance, you'd think "what's up with this dude?" ..but I've gotten use to his weirdness and randomness. It's entertaining now :sweat:. But, the great thing about this group is that they have group dynamics, I think out of all the JE..they're the group that gets along with showing their true self all at the same time--they're not afraid to damage their image or whatnot.

ARASHI -- The most hyper and energetic would be Aiba, there's no doubt about it. Just by doing his A no Arashi action is evidence enough :hehe:. This is also the 2nd group I like in terms of group dynamics. They're a mix of both maturity and childishness. lol.

finally, i finished watching Dream Boys, storyline is kinda almost similar (but not really the same) to Tackey's Dreamboy even some of the songs from past DB still there. just that there is a villian... oppss. dont wanna mess up posting spoiler :beaten: but i like it as a whole... especially the set. haha~~ even if ryo just hopped in after his news con, ( i still wonder how did he rehearse for that play? ) i dont see anything as his role being minimize... he wasnt with the other members, coz he is with jin most of the time of the play (his role requires him to).... even when singing kizuna... but he is kinda playful when he is with the rest of k8 during the showtime... ... lol..... hina is as usual hyperactive in the play btw... and ohkura is just way too cool... and yoko's acting is sooo natural ~~

Totally agree with you! Those high notes, he's amazing! :woot: I've never heard any of JE boys, be it senpais or kouhais ever reaching those high notes singing live, with the exception of KK's Tsuyoshi Dohmoto. Yeah, he's superb like that... :muack:

Yeah, Subaru is hyper. But at that times, he can be so quiet n cool it's hard to read him. Such a mood swing he has! :crazy:

Yu is the most hyper but he tends to get quiet sometimes. But try putting him together with Subaru & Hina, and the hyperness would just escalate! :hehe:
