I agree! so many people liking kanjani 8. I wonder though how many are from the Kansai region! my family itselfs hails from Osaka so i was curious to hear this groups music, in addition nishikido ryo is in it!
One thing that is beyond me is, why are japanese boy bands, particularly those in johnnys obsessed with the color pink!?!?

What do you mean? How many fans are from Kansai or how many of eito are from Kansai? If you're asking about K8, ALL of them are Kansai-jin. Subaru, Yu, Hina, Ryo, Ohkura & Uchi are Osaka-jin, Maru is Kyoto-jin while Yassu is Hyogo-jin. All of these places are in Kansai region, that's why they're named Kan(sai)jani8...

Minna-san, have someone got their calendar? Mine still hasn't show up, have to wait until March 10.

And about this whole concert tour, it's very amazing neee.... all 47 prefectures! And this is Kanjani8's own decision! I really wanted to see the performance, but....hix...hix....it still a dream for me...

Still no news about the upcoming album? I already preorder my zukkoke otokomchi ^__^ Really can't wait to hear the song.

Heehee thanks! I feel really lucky to have gotten a chance to study there for 3 months as well. Now I am back in my dreadful uni in US. I can't wait to get back to Japan but I am so poor. Well, at least I am so excited to go home this summer! Sorry I took so long to reply... am busy with midterms!

I like all in Kanjani8 of course! Hahah! But my favs are Okura and Maru followed by Ryo and Yokoyama.

And yes, I just joined Masterkey but I am still not sure how to find my way around there. Plus, I just joined and hardly surfed yet as I had no time yet. Will do so next week during my spring break! I will look out for you there.

The last thing I heard is that the new album will be out BEFORE the tour starts in May.

Yup Ryo looks good. :) Maybe it's just me though, but Ryo always wears the same expression in his shots it's so obvious. So out of all eito, I still think that Ohkura is the better one, a definite model-material. ;)

Good things are happening again today & yesterday. Yesterday Heat Up DVD crept back up into the daily music-DVD Oricon chart at no.18, and today it's Spirits turn at no.14! :woot: Yatta for K8! :)

1L no Namida SP episode is going to be aired in April 5th!!!!


The SP episode main character is Haruto, and the storyline is basicaly that half year after Aya's death, Haruto is already a intraneural specialist doctor and he talks about Aya's story to a patient, a 14 years old girl who was out of hope to live.

no i meant whther they hold universal appeal across japan (ive known people to be really fierce about the whole kansai region pride thing)
